Amazing value for money, lights are fantastic
I bought one for my friend’s birthday and tried it out myself when it arrived before giving it to her. I was blown away by the brightness and amazingness of the lights projected onto the ceiling. I called my housemates down to see what they thought of it as a birthday gift for my friend, and we ended up staying in the dark room for an hour just listening to music and watching the cool lights and trying all the different modes. We loved it so much, we all pitched in and bought a second one of these to keep for ourselves, before I even gave the first one to the intended receiver!The lights are really atmospheric and fill the whole room, and being able to control their speed, colour and mode with the remote is neat. Auto mode, where the lights change and move in time to music, is really effective though a bit epileptic if on fast-paced songs. As a Bluetooth speaker, it connected and worked seamlessly, and the audio quality is pretty good too considering its primary use is not the sound but the visuals. And for £15.99 (with a £4 voucher applied) it is one of the best value products I’ve ever bought.One downside is that it cannot be portable, has to be plugged in with USB-C cable which is helpfully included. Also, the instructions for the different light modes on the remote control could be clearer, as we had to play around with it to understand how it worked fully.

Fabulous value, makes a great present
I got this for my son’s friend as a 10th birthday present and my kids loved it so much they asked for it for Christmas.Positives: well made, feels safe, power cord is fairly long, the light itself is really powerful and it has some absolutely gorgeous effects.My 7 YO is a bit scared of the dark, he now goes to sleep with this on and it’s completely solved that problem. Also the light effects are very soothing so great to get the kids to sleep.I’ve given it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are a couple of negatives for me: first of all it doesn’t have a battery so you *must* leave it plugged in for it to work. Not a huge issue for us, but bear this in mind if your wall socket is in an awkward position compared to where you’d want to place the projector. We have to use an extension in my eldest’s room. Another negative point is it has a super annoying voice that says ‘power on/ off’ quite loudy when you switch it on/ off, so we just unplug it to switch it off when the children are asleep. Also no timer, again, that would have been handy.Overall it’s a great product, great value for money and I will probably buy this again as it’s a super popular present.

Really good for the price!
Weâve been really happy with this! I looked at lots of similar products and this has worked really well for a low price.The visual effects are bright and effective, although not particularly varied, but have really impressed my 3 and 5 year old children. Itâs easy to connect to Bluetooth to play music, which sounds perfectly good for a living room disco. The downside is that when connected to music the visuals get VERY flashy as opposed to soothing. Also, if you step outside Bluetooth range with your device thatâs streaming the music, it shouts âBLUETOOTH IS DISCONNECTâ and then shouts âBLUETOOTH IS CONNECTâ when you get near again. Thatâs even if youâre not playing music. So not great if youâre using it as a sleep aid!So a few minor quibbles, but for price itâs great and our kids love it. If youâre not sure if your kids will like / use one of these a lot, this is a good way to find out. Highly recommended.

3rd one bought!We used ours at Christmas in the hallway. It was lovely and looked great from the outside.2 Yr old loves hers as does her parents! It calms her down when she is being a “terrible 2” or at bedtime.
