Matter makes it easier
This is a matter enabled device and this does seem to make the initial setup easier. For an explanation of “matter enabled device” I suggest a google search (or similar). I plugged this plug in near to my wifi hub and Blue Tooth enabled phone and used the Alexa app on my phone to set it up. I then plugged it in where it was needed and all seems fine. It now switches my little office with its puter, screens and a few peripherals on and off all together as required as part of an Alexa routine. It can be managed via my Alexa app. This is how I did it. There are probably other ways.

Good smart plug compatible with Alexa
Works well and is compatible with Alexa, basically no set up, was linked to my account so just plug and go. Really happy with this just wish I bought more. Bought with a bundle deal with the Alexa echo which was good value.

Works with Alexa just not always perfectly
Works well 99% of the time but recently has had an issue with Alexa saying the switch wasnât responding even after it had done what was asked. Not sure if thatâs Alexa or the switch but is snnoying

Unlike another ” Amazon Choice” brand that comes with a search for an Alexa Compatible Smart Plug…. this really was easy set up! All done in less than 2 minutes – and that included downloading the app.Will definitely get again if need more.

Total waste of money, not to mention time.
I would give this no stars if that were possible. The ‘smart’ plug is definitely the worst device I have ever bought. It quickly loses connection to the network and will not reset. I have tried every suggested work around and end up with the same result every time. Sold as being easy and pain free to set up, it is anything but. Do not bother wasting your money or your time as otherwise you will end up very frustrated. I wish I had believed the previous bad reviews for this product.

Easy to set up they work great. Nice to be able to just ask Alexa to turn on the bedroom lamps

All the bad review make no sense at all, I bought Amazon Echo Dot 2022 model and this plug, it works very well with Alexa, I could pair with no issues, there is nothing negative I could say about this item. Easy to setup, plug quality, connectivity, switchable, all good.
