I have been very pleased with these headphone. I gently drift off to sleep with them, and awake with no discomfort, nor awoken as before, when my previous headphone fell off as I moved. I have been recommending them to friends and family, super pleased.

Very comfortable
A very useful piece of kit, I use mine for meditation and audio books, It can be used anywhere without disturbing anyone elses activities, I prefer these to watching drivel on TV. I can escape into a good audio book or relax with some music and be there.They fit really well with an adjustable head strap, very comfortable, the soud clarity is very good and at £32.99 are resonably priced, my set will get well used. Highly recommended.

All bluetooth sleep masks are awesome and they all deserve 5 stars! If you’ve never tried one, get one! I’ve tried many, and this one is above average compared to other bluetooth sleep masks. The remainder of this review will highlight specific features.Charging CordWhen the charging cord is too short, the control module gets pulled out of place, and it’s a pain to have to put it back in position every time. When the charging cord is too long, it twists and gets damaged. This one is too long, so you have to be careful handling it when plugging it in. The coating broke where the wire meets the micro usb charging end, and bare wires were exposed (see picture). I am going to tape that joint to protect it.Eye cupsWithout eye cups, the fabric presses on your eyelids, and you can’t open your eyes under the mask, like a flat blindfold. That never bothered me until I tired one with eye cups, and it felt so much better, I loved it. This one has eye cups, but they are soft thin foam and don’t really hold the fabric away from your eyes, so I feel my eyelashes and part of my eyelids touching the fabric, but there’s no pressure on my eyeballs, so even though I can’t open my eyes inside the mask it’s still better than the ones with no eye cups at all.Bluetooth rangeI have had some that are so short that I can’t roll over in bed without cutting off the sound. I have had some that I can get up and go to the kitchen or bathroom and it keeps playing the entire time. This one cuts out when I leave the bedroom, but it continues playing when I get back, and never cuts out as long as it is in the same room as the phone.Warranty and Customer ServiceThis listing says that it has a 90 day warranty, and I did contact the seller when the mask quit connecting to bluetooth (I think that was because of the exposed wires mentioned earlier), and they replaced it immediately. So this one definitely has GREAT warranty and customer service.Voice RecordingsThese all have some pre-recorded voice notifications, such as “Power on,” “Pairing,” “Connected” and “Power off.” For some, the voice is shrill and annoying, or mumbling and difficult to understand, or the volume is much higher or lower than the media. This one is pleasant and clear to understand, and a slightly lower volume.Battery LifeAlmost all of these start out with at least 8 hours battery life. After about a year, the battery life decreases and it’s still useable, but I replace them when the battery life decreases below 8 hours. This one is lasts at least 10 hours. I haven’t had it long enough to see when the battery life will start to decline, but that’s to be expected with any rechargeable battery.Velcro HeadstrapI prefer velcro straps instead of pullover style, most of the ones available have velcro. On some, the velcro is so strong that it’s very difficult to separate, it feels like you might rip the stitching and pull the velcro right off the strap before the velcro will separate. Some are so weak that they come undone and the mask falls off. This one is just perfect. The velcro is even aligned so the soft side is facing in and the prickly side is facing out so it doesn’t get tangled in long hair. This one also has a stretchy strap so it feels more comfortable and secure, and fits all sizes.Control Module & ButtonsThe control module is between layers of fabric and not attached to the mask, so you can remove it for washing. To use the buttons while wearing the mask, you have to go by feel since you can’t see them while you’re wearing the blindfold. On some, the control module moves around and it’s difficult to find. On this one, the control module stays in place very well. On some, the buttons are printed on the fabric so you can’t really tell by feel where they are, you have to feel through the fabric to find where the buttons are, then try to figure out which button is which. This one has a raised plastic or rubber patch sewn on the fabric above where the module sits, and the buttons are raised on the patch (see picture), so it is very easy to find the buttons.Speaker PositionThe speakers are a small disc between layers of fabric, not attached to the mask. The speakers move freely so they are often not in the right place over my ears and have to be moved back into the correct position. Some speakers move around a lot, and some are better at staying in position (although that could be due to the fabric of the mask not really due to the speaker itself), these ones are about average. I should probably use a safety pin or a few stitches to close off the opening so they don’t move around so much.Speaker ComfortThe speakers are about the diameter of a quarter and about 1/4″ thick. For side sleepers, the speakers can hurt your ears on the side that the pillow presses the speaker into your ear. Thinner ones cause less discomfort, these are about average. The shape of the speaker can also affect comfort, a speaker with straight edges and sharp corners (like a stack of quarters glued together) causes a lot of pain. These have a soft plastic or rubber mold over the speaker that smooths the edges, it looks like a miniature frisbee with tapered edges (see picture), so these are very comfortable and especially GREAT for side sleepers.

5/4/2025 review of the LC-dolita 3D Breathable Sleep Mask for Side Sleepers, Double-Sided Lightweight Eye Cover for Men & Women, Soft Light Blocking Sleeping Mask for Travel, Night Work, Naps, and Office Use(Starry Black): $9.99This is a plush and comfortable sleep mask. It doesn’t work for me for a couple of reasons.1. I see light coming through from the bottom center, over my nose.2. When I rotate to my side, the sleep mask shifts / moves opposite direction. The movement makes the mask off centered and wakes me from my sleep.The sizing and shape needs some adjustments. Perhaps make 2 different sizes?
