Great value and functionality
Great valueApp controls overall power but also each socket and USB socket individually.I use it with Alexa to set a curfew for my son and his PC/PS4 while the USB sockets stay on so he can charge his phone etc overnight.Easy to set up and easy to operate

I unfortunately bought 3 of these 2 have now failed. They emit a high frequency sound on failure, start switching on and off or just stop working altogether do not buyI have only just set this to be programed, but it keeps failing. I set the times with the Smart life and Tuya Smart App and save the settings, the next day the settings I saved is greyed out tried a few times nowI have found the answer to this problem thanks you to TUYA online chatBoth the Smart Life app and the TUYA app do the sameIn image 1, I have added the Power Strip successfully1. Power up the strip2. Run the app to find the Power stripYou may need to go to your WIFI settings on your device to set your WIFI to the Power Strip initially, go back into the app complete, then return device back onto your router or AP WIFI connection3. Open up the App to get to power strip selection icon4. Click on a selected socket strip icon5. Select the sw1 pencil symbol to rename it if you would like to5. Select the small clock symbol to get to program page, here i have added an on and off time, at this point you think your OK but not so6. You need to enable the days as well, In the Kasa app – Tapo app it’s a slider on and offHere you need to also click the days so they go green don’t forget to save the timeswith a bit of luck it should work nowOn a different note I have seen these cause major WIFI issues, due to IP broadcasting if these are not configured. items connected to the WIFI stop working. Don’t just plug these in and leave them as they will keep trying to connect to your WIFI. they seem OK when they are connected.

Wow, exceeded expectations!
A neatly packaged compact Smart 4 plug 4 USB extension power extension. For the price I wasn’t expecting too much from this product, however, I am incredibly impressed. The unit appears robust, is compact and sturdy. Following the straightforward instructions, I switched my WiFi router to 2.4ghz only (disabling 5ghz signal) as is the case for nearly all smart devices, downloaded the app to my phone and followed the on-screen prompts. Unlike other smart devices I have, this was found very quickly, and pairing was completed equally as fast. Once set-up, I tested it, and it works perfectly. From the app it’s very easy to switch on and off separately the four sockets as well as the bank of 4 USB power points. Connecting to Alexa was simply a tap of a button and from there the device becomes voice enabled which was my main goal for buying this device. A huge thumbs up for this product. It’s not often an extension lead impresses me but, on this occasion, definitely. The only improvement I could suggest is to make the writing in the instructions larger. I have perfect sight and struggled to read them. I highly recommend this product which is excellent value for money.

This will infuriate you during the initial setup.
The product is very good at providing a quality service and is very well presented. After downloading the app it will really not be straightforward to get the thing to work and will require a number of attempts to get the thing to actually work. Be prepared to be pressing alot of reset buttons on the device and your router. Also don’t forget any other gear connected to your WiFi network will probably decide to disconnect and need to be reconnected again. But after the initial shouting and frustration of it all you will be very satisfied and even quite smug to have tamed the beast and now have a reliable and very efficient service that is very comprehensive in the many facilities it gifts your home. I am very pleased in the individual facilities for each plug. With setting up the scheduled on off facilities on individual items Just remember which plug powers which item. Also needed if you have individual plugs for individual equipment. Also if you switch the wrong one off its easily corrected as the app is still open. Shame you cannot add a title to individual sockets making it easier to remember the information (something individual plugs will let you do) but outweighed by having the unit all in one place.

Works with home assistant and zigbee2mqtt
As with all smart home enthusiasts who use home assistant, compatibility with home assistant is top priority.This device did not disappoint, paired with my zigbee 3.0 sonoff stick no issues, and immediately added into home assistant via zigbee2mqtt.I’ve taken the device apart, checked the fuse and cable diameter, which is correct vs some alternatives that you get which have incorrectly sized fuse and cables fitted. Overall build quality looks decent, soldering is sound and no run off.Also easy to maintain as there is no glue or silly plastic clips to snap if you ever do need to get into the unit, big plus in my book.Overall very pleased, be interesting to see how long it lasts but currently no issues, been up solid for over a week.Some areas where the product is lacking, however i understand given the price, but would be nice to have:1.Power monitoring built in either for the whole unit consumption or per plug (which would be even better).I have fixed this by having a separate power monitor plugged in so not a big deal, but be great for it to be built into one.2. USB C would be a good addition to the product given that more and more devices now utilise this standard, so will future proof the unit a bit, and reduce any potential e-waste3. Would be great for this to be a 6 plug version not 4, since most users probably use this for their entertainment unit and 4 is just not enough plug sockets sadly.
