I have installed this smart power strip two weeks ago and it works perfectly well.The six switches and the USB charger can be individually controlled (together with the control for the whole power strip) and this gives you great flexibility in arranging the appliances you wish to connect to the specific sockets.Installing and connecting to WiFi and then interfacing with Alexa was simple, once you instal the app (available for free on Google Play and on the Apple Market).The price is very good value for money, considering the number of smart sockets the strip has.Its size and the position of the sockets means that some care may be needed in positioning this power strip, but this is hardly a problem.So, if you have a large number of appliances that you wish to connect and control separately, I certainly recommend this smart power strip.

Great quality with plenty of outlets (sockets and USB). Compatible with Siri and this was really easy to set up as all Apple compatible devices usually are. We use it all the time and rack socket can be switched on or off individually. Great buy.

Brilliant for adding Alexa controlled plugs to a socket that is behind a unit, no more having to pull the unit out to add a plug and I’ve now got 4 WIFI plugs for one socket!Would be great for using with multiple Christmas lights at this time of year and being able to voice control them or routine set them.Highly recommend!

Unreliable
Easy to install in my Apple Home setup and you can individually control the things you have plugged into it. Will accommodate 6 appliances if they have standard plugs, but the housings are very tight so can be difficult to unplug things. Why only one star? Well the clue is in the title of this review, itรขยยs unreliable. It will randomly switch off the power and then turn it back on again a second or two later. There isnรขยยt any pattern I can discern, some times itรขยยs in the middle of the night and I only notice it because my digital clock is flashing and showing the wrong time. On other occasions weรขยยre watching TV when it happens and have to wait for the TV and streaming box to reboot before we can continue watching the programme/movie. Not only annoying but also potentially damaging to your equipment to randomly lose power when in use.

Not as straight forward to set up as the instructions say, but the app helps with manual setup.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Setup wasn’t as straight forward as the instructions stated but the app was able to assist with manual setup. Linking with Google was also much easier than the last smart powerstrip I had.

WOW – now that was easy!
I bought my wife an Echo Dot for her Birthday which is during Christmas week so this “machine” is still to be set up – yes I know – terrible time for a birthday – however, I also decided to treat myself to this Refoss Smart Power Strip (because I know it will come in handy when I set up Alexa). But until then, I thought I would use it to power my Christmas Lights.Now I must stress that I have never owned or used one of these “smart” items before so was a little nervous as to how I would get on.My “worries” were totally unnecessary – setting up was simplicity itself.1, Plus it into a power supply – it will start flashing.2, Download, install and register on the eHomeLife app.3, Open the app, click the + then find the Power Strip in the choices available.4, Wait for the “smart” power strip item to do its bit of trying to connect to your Wifi.5, Enter your Wifi details when asked to do so.6, Connected – DONE.I now have my Christmas lights coming on at 4pm and turning off at 10.30 pm.The 4 sockets on the power strip can be scheduled all together or individually.The quality of the power strip seems excellent – good socket housing and nice heavy cable (1.8M) with a good safe rubber white plug.Very pleased with myself in “managing” to get this item to work for me so easily – if I can do it then anyone can.Very pleased with the Refoss Smart Power Strip – come on the Smart future – bring it on.

Device Too Compact
Very good build quality.In my opinion the device has 2 problems:1) the 6 sockets are to close together as many plugs I have are not the “standard” type, I can only use 4 of the 6 sockets.2) it is difficult to attach the device to say a wall, as the holes on the back of the device are to shallow.
