Superb Smart Plugs which work with Alexa
I initially bought the first Smartplug to help me know exactly how much my new hot tub was costing per day, week month or year.The Smartplug itself was extremely easy to set up and use. During the set up process your asked if you would like to automatically connect with a Alexa or Google Assist device, if you say yes then it automatically will connect with it.Scan the QR code on the box and download the app.This allows you to set the price your energy supplier charges per Kwh.Once you have done this the app will automatically keep track of how much the appliance you plug into the Smartplug costs to run.You can also then switch on or off the Smartplug from anywhere in the world via the app.You can also set up a schedule to automatically switch any particular Smartplug on or off at set times, after being on for any given time, so long before or after sunset or sunrise.Another very useful option is to have lights switch on and off at random times, giving the impression someone is at home while on vacation or away on business.I was so impressed with the first Smartplug that I’ve now bought another ten for around the house.

I used to use other brands of smart plug alexa timer socket, but they didn’t work for very long. I recently purchased GreenSun’s smart plug alexa timer socket because they were cheaper than my previous purchases.They look similar to the smart plug I already own, but require the use of the corresponding Vesync program.Easy to install, works well, works well with Google and alexa, as easy to set up as any other smart device, and saves a lot of power by turning everything off with a touch or voice command. I think I will try to buy more.By the way it only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for most Wi-Fi signals

Lasted 1 year(great customer services)
These were great especially for turning on outside lights. Sadly 1 failed after 4 months and now a 2nd has failed after 12 months. If it wasnât for that would be a higher star rating but canât due to be unreliable.(star rating updated after customer support help)Was able to get hold of support, in less than a week of me contacting them I had 2 replacement plugs land on my doorstep. Hope these last longer. Very easy to step up.

I purchased these smart plugs as a way of monitoring the energy consumption of several of my household appliances. they all installed without any problems using my eero 6+ network. The app provides information about current energy consumption, weekly, monthly and yearly totals for each appliance.If you have any interest in discovering where you use your electricity in the home and how to possibly reduce consumption, then this gadget is a very good place to start.

Good, but not good enough.
I bought a pack of 4 which all worked fine until about 11 months in. They come with a years warranty, average for most things, however I would expect these to last for several years. Two of mine failed within the warranty period. I contacted the seller who replaced them no problem. Another has recently failed, but because it was outside the warranty period they would not replace. Unfortunately I now have a dilemma; do I purchase another to replace the dead plug, or try a new device with possibly another app to install on my already full to the brim phone! I found it easy to add these to Alexa, and use that to turn on and off as necessary (particularly useful in the dark winter months).
