Used Optical Cable connection, and der you have to take the little rubber stoppers off even though they seem quite secure, and set my LG TV to transmit sound via Internal Speakers and Optical.The advantage of this was i can have the TV at my hearing level which is quite low, while my other half can use headphones and set these at her required level which is a lot higher.Also you can have sound completely off at TV and listen to sound through headphones so no one else is disturbed whatever time of day or night it is.Device very small and comes with Optical Cable and other cables as mentioned.There is a card in package telling you to set TV Sound to come out in a set format.Without setting this i could not get some of the Apps like ITVX or BBC I PLAYER to work with headphones and TV speakers the way i described above. I suggest you change the setting as per instructions on the card before you install device to avoid the frustration i had due to not clicking on every option under sound until i found what i was looking for later on when i realised my own mistake and just trying to soldier on anyway.Anyway if you do follow instructions, better than me, you will find this quite easy to setup.Paired it with DOQAUS Bluetooth Headphones Over Ear, [52 Hrs Playtime] Wireless Headphones, 3 EQ Modes, Foldable Hi-Fi Stereo Bass Headphones, Soft Memory Protein Earmuffs, Built-in Mic ＆ Wired Mode for Phone/PC/TV also bought on Amazon.Works a treat in Transmit Mode, i don’t require Receive Mode for use with Smart Phones for example, veryclear sound even when i walk around our Flat into a any room.I’ve set headphones to Clear Voice for partner, due to her hearing being impaired.Lights on top tell you whats going on. Headphones i bought tell you when paired as well.Charge time seems reasonable as long as your not a total TV addict.Only caveat which i could add is that On/Off switch which you are likely to use frequently could do with being a Toggle Switch as sliding switch is a bit awkward to catch easily. A nail on your thumb helps.Notified seller of my thoughts on this aspect.Anyway overall we were really impressed and i would have liked to give 4.5 stars really or 9 out of Ten if this was an option on Amazon.No input on longevity yet only had a few weeks but happy so far.Wouldn’t put anyone off of buying one of these.Seller contact without asking and really they are setting the pace as far as customer service goes.As good a customer service as i’ve encountered on Amazon whom i’ve used for eons.Of course i did not have any problems with my device so can’t comment on this aspect.

UPDATED 12/94/23: After my I initial review, I am disappointed. I am having to send it back. The sound started cutting out frequently, then stopped altogether. I tried unpairing and pairing several times, but no joy.Original review: I wear Phonak nathos, nova m hearing aids, and was looking for something much cheaper than the TV connecter. I have 2 very loud budgies who compete with anything on the TV. Although I would not say that they are perfect, and the distance is not as good as it says without the sound breaking up a bit, for the price, they are OK for me. This could be due to the hearing aid capabilities, but I cannot say. REMEMBER to take the rubber caps off the optical cable if you are using this. I didn’t to start with. I have a TV with a separate freeview tv recorder and was unsure which to connect it to, but with a bit of trial and error, I discovered that it was the recorder. I used the optical cable. It was also a lot of trial and error to not have the TV volume on at the same time, which is very annoying, and to get the volume right. The volume on the unit only works on rx, not on tx, which is what it needs to be on to transmit to hearing aids, head phones etc. I discovered that the TV volume needed to be off, and I control the volume with the recorder remote, but the level still wasn’t right. After lots of googling, I realised that I needed to use the Phonak app to set the volume for streaming. So now, I have that set on the highest streaming volume, and use my hearing aids and the recorder remote to get it perfect. Incidentally, I had to turn off Bluetooth/disconnect Bluetooth on my phone for it to work, as my hearing aids only can connect to one thing at a time. It took me a while to figure this out too. I am not sure how good the instructions in the enclosed leaflet were as, like most instructions these days, they were far too small to read. But, I got there in the end. I hope that this helps anyone else with hearing aids that cannot warrant around £150 for the specific TV connector for their hearing aids. I ordered these, not knowing if it would work, but knew that I could send it back if it didn’t, so it was worth a try, and it saved me over £100!

The seller contacted me to offer a replacement FOC to try, the one supplied works perfectly!I have to give their customer service 5 stars as they genuinely want you to be 100% satisfied.If you buy from this seller and have issues they are very tenacious and will keep reaching out until they are able to resolve your issue.My original purchase was returned as faulty.*************************************Not sure what happened but it was easy to connect and albeit the sound output was lower than I’d like I was happy with the product. I used it 2 or 3 tines and then turned it on, it reconnected with my headphones but no sound. I repaired them via Bluetooth again, they connected but no sound output. I returned them and purchased a different one from the same manufacturer and guess what, it paired with two headsets and still no sound output. Would not recommend as either this one has damaged my TV aux output or they are just unreliable.

Acheté pour remplacer un émetteur-récepteur bluetooth qui commençait à faire son âge (nettement plus petite taille mais souffle présent lors de l’écoute en mode émetteur, qualité sonore dépendant de la qualité du câble double-jack utilisé et batterie de 2h max) qui me servait pour envoyer la musique de mon smartphone vers ma chaîne Hi-Fi et pouvoir écouter la TV discrètement le soir.J’ai choisi ce modèle car il possède une sortie optique pour pouvoir le brancher sur ma chaîne, en mode récepteur.Dans ce mode, pas de soucis (même pas besoin de sortir la doc fournie avec l’appareil), je connecte mon smartphone dessus en Bluetooth (par contre, il faut deviner que l’appareil s’appelle BT1002 …) et la liaison se fait instantanément, en mode AptX.Dans ce cas, la qualité sonore est bluffante ! Même moi qui n’a pas l’oreille particulièrement musicale, j’ai senti que le son sortait plus net et plus riche sur ma chaîne par rapport à la liaison par câble double jack avec l’ancien émetteur-récepteur.En mode émetteur, j’ai eu une petite déception car l’oreille droite de mes écouteurs (des Sony WF-C500) ne réagissait pas immédiatement et il fallait attendre quelques minutes pour avoir un son normal.Je pensais que c’était parce que le câble optique était toujours connecté quand j’utilisais l’entrée jack, mais non.A priori, le problème était causé par le câble double-jack que j’utilisais et qui n’était pas connecté à fond. En débranchant-rebranchant tout correctement, plus de soucis.Au vu de certains commentaires, j’avais peur d’avoir du souffle ou de la désyncho mais personnellement, je n’en ai pas entendu, même en gardant l’alim connectée en permanence.Niveau endurance, j’ai bien dû l’utiliser (émission et réception comprises) au moins une vingtaine d’heure avant qu’il ne commence à se plaindre. Gros défaut sur ce point d’ailleurs car à part que le son se mette à diminuer régulièrement sans raison pendant 1s, on ne sait pas s’il manque d’énergie ou pas (à force on finit par le deviner mais bon). La LED correspondant ne donne pas l’info car elle est toujours éteinte et passe en rouge seulement quand on alimente l’appareil.L’autre soucis, c’est que si le jack est connecté, même en mode récepteur, la sortie optique est désactivée.Limitation bizarre, mais sûrement parce que la prise jack est partagée pour la réception et l’émission.Au final très content de ce petit appareil. J’espère qu’il va durer un (long) moment.
