Easy to install
Great little item that you can set a timer on, switch on/off and monitor kwatt usage direct from the app. I bought it so I could use it with Smart things but the installation instructions were a bit complicated so I just downloaded their own app. There are other features you can set up on subscription but I didn’t find these necessary. I’m so pleased with these I’ve ordered another set I have heaters with timers but I never quite got the hang of them, and as I can also switch these on and off when I’m not at home I think they are going to be a great solution. The app also allows you to name the plugs by.room so you know what one your controlling. A big 5* from me. currently I’m using one for my aquarium lights and the other for a dehumidifier.I’ll be intrigued to see if the app still works when I’m on holiday.

Works fine. Does need a fairly good WiFi strength. Got frustrated with working out how to set the schedule, but once it’s figured out, it is pretty straightforward. Bought it to work with a travel EV charger and it works fine.

Seems to work okay – with one big issue
I bought these to time a garage fan to come on during the night time cheap rate electricity. They seem to work okay, are very compact and do the job, however, the timer function on the Android App is a bit hit and miss. If there’s a timer set in the app it refuses to accept a new event without deleting the first timed event then re-entering the new timed event. Each time I tried to save the set timer it just wouldn’t do it without deleting the old one. Bit annoying but I’ve worked out how to do it. A major flaw though is that the sockets are round, so what’s the problem, they are too big and interfere/clash with certain switched 13A outlets. Other than that they seem to work, time will tell and I don’t think I’d risk them on a full 13A load either.

Works well
This plug worked straight away, I opened the Tuya app and it asked if I wanted to add the plug, so effortless. Just days before I bought the Amazon basics smart plug and I cannot get that work at all with Alexa, not even finding my WiFi so this new plug was a huge relief! I set a schedule for the plug easily and I notice you can view energy consumption too. Great value for money.

Extremely easy to set up, took me less than 5 minutes and I am not exactly tech savvy.I set up a timer also as this was used for our outdoor Christmas lights and this works well. But can quite easily turn it off / on earlier if needed.Easily paired with our Google hub also, via the Google home assist app.I will definitely be purchasing more to use around the house.

Had high hopes!
Started off very well, very easier to use with the app. It was really annoying that the set times did not show up I time order but thought I could just about cope with that. II wanted the plug to use as a timer to turn an appliance on and off. Worked great for a month or so and then the timer stopped working. No amount of resetting or reinstalling the app would get it to work. I could still turn it on or off but the timer would not work. Have since bought a different plug.
