Apple home user and really impressed. This was super easy to set up using the Apple home app. It works perfectly and is very responsive for on / off control. No energy monitoring without the TaPo app but I donรขยยt need it personally. Automations and scenes work as expected. Built in surge protection is a great plus too. Plugs can all be independently controlled or bundled and grouped together. The 4 plug strip is great value for money and much cheaper than buying 4 independent smart plugs. While itรขยยs only day one for meรขยยฆ Iรขยยm really happy with this!

Tapo delivered always the best! with the option not only to monitor the consumption but also gives lot of benefits, from power protection, charge guard, schedule on and off and working perfectly with Alexa, last but not least, 750 C flame resistant (PC Material)! could not buy better! I think one of the key point is the visible savings, knowing how much energy your items are using, and cut the cost!really recommended ! Tapo the best.

Tapo products work well
I have moved away from other brands to Tapo as there products are easy to set up and reliable. Great value for money, a lot cheaper than comparable brands. A great multi socket plug where you can name and control easch switch through your house system (Alexa). Same size as a non-smart multi socket plug.

Useful
Good product if you have a number of appliances in a corner. Each socket switched separately via Tapo app each has power monitoring and during installation if you have other Tapo monitoring plugs the tarrifs will be copied across. Relays sound substantial. I found setup best via Alexa app. Oh and if you use a charger in it settings will turn it off when charged.

Just what I needed!
I’ve been using tapo smart plugs for years now and what I ideally needed was an extension cord with built in smart functionality. There were others on the market but didn’t trust their online eco system. With Tapo being a trusted brand of mine I was absolutely delighted to see this Tapo product. I bought two of these. Syncs with the Tapo app. Same functionality as Tapo plugs as in timers and automations for individual sockets and also has a smart power feature for example it will detect when your phone has been fully charged and so with go ahead and switch it off. I thought that was quite nifty but you do have to set it up for example when it uses 1 Watt for 1 minute for example then switch off. It really is a great sturdy quality product. Oh you won’t be disappointed A+

Very impressive
The hardware looks nice and seems very well built. It worked with the Tapo app flawlessly – set up was super easy. Love that there is a MacOS app as well as an iOS app. Had a little trouble linking to Apple Home app, (note that the ‘matter’ QR code is printed on the bottom of the strip) but switching the whole thing off and then on again, seemed to get it connected. You can also separate out the plugs into their own switches in the Apple Home app, but this is not the default. Only drawback at present is that you cannot switch off the auto firmware update – you are supposed to be able to do that but the option just isn’t there. As my computer is on one of these, I hope that this is fixed asap. And for the final tiny detail that could be better, would like a wider range of icons for the things that are plugged in!
