Great smart plugs
These smart plugs are easy to set up and are so easy to link into smart speakers. The schedule option allows you to set up a start and finish time, just lie a mechanical timer. I have my Christmas lights all set up to switch on at 16:30 and off at 22:30, so much easier and more reliable.

These Smart plugs are absolutely brilliant, very easy to use. I love mine just set it up with your Alexa or Google and use your voice to activate i.e. television, lamps, hi-fi, computer, etc. Important notes: look at the item that you are going to connect this smart plug too, see how many watts the item has, then look at your smart plug and see what is the watts maximum load, for that smart plug can handle. The smart plugs that I bought, Maximum 2990watts (resistance, Loading) so if you have a kettle that runs at 3000 watts please DO NOT USE this smart plug on that item, as it will blowout the smart plug, so if you are going to use a Trailing socket on your smart plug add up all the watts on each item thatΓ’ΒΒs plugged in your trailing socket as you do not want to overload your Smart plug. A simple but smart add to your home
Load the app on your phone, follow the instructions and hey presto, you got a smart socket! It that easy and repeat as necessary. We have these all around the house now for lamps and they link up with the Alexa app so you can set routines for them so you set up phases etc. to suit your needs til your heart’s content. We even use them for the lights outside (plugged inside of course).

They do the job very well
I already had a TCP smart plug which we used on the living room light set to timer via the app. Later on we discovered that Alexa instructions could be given.I bought the 4 pack so we can use them around the house such as a light in the bedroom and other places. IΓ’ΒΒve got one connected to my hifi equipment and just ask Alexa to switch on the hifi which is great because if thereΓ’ΒΒs a CD in the player that will start up, instant music.IΓ’ΒΒm happy with the app and the setup is easy as long as you set your Wi-Fi to the lower speed. The TCP app is quite intuitive and also the Alexa app is quite useful.A very good buy as this pack sells for ΓΒ£45 at a major DIY store.

Fantastic
These plug in timers are fantastic. They are so simple to set up as to be idiot proof (so great for me) and are truly versatile with basic on/off together with timers and random functions. I initially bought just one to see how I got on with it, and was set on buying a few more after a couple of weeks use. I have a feeling they can be linked together if you have more than one and that way they can cleverly switch on and off in groups or pairs depending on your needs. Very reliable, discreet, well made and great value.

Simply the best
Tried TAPO product. In fact 2 different models, 1 out of 8 worked. Cheap is not best. TCP are so easy to pair with Alexa. Once you’ve set up the first plug, the rest is easy. If you want a Rolls Royce then it works. If you you just want a runaround that works, then these are your plugs. I have not been paid for this review.

So handy to have for turning things off and on only issue is on the app sometime it doesn’t switch so you have to check if it’s off or on .. also says offline at times yet will still operate item
