Signal strength not great but worth the price.
I’ve had this for a while so i’m not 100% but i’m pretty sure this worked right after plugging it in, or if not then it was 0 hassle to actually get it to work. I only did 4 stars instead of 5 as my keyboard is literally a metre away and I notice that sometimes when typing, it might miss letters or just mess up as if it glitches in connection for a moment. Kinda frustrating as I write a lot but it’s still usable and the price is good.

Awesome Bluetooth Adapter!
I bought the TP-Link Nano USB Bluetooth 5.3 Adapter, and it works great! I got two of them for my devices, and they’ve been super reliable. The plug-and-play feature makes it easy to set up, and the long-range connection is a bonus. No issues with compatibility on my Windows 11 and 10. Highly recommend if you need a solid Bluetooth adapter!

Very nice adapter
Initially I was disappointed because the connectivity was poor but after quick tip I learned is to make sure your adapter is plugged in to a USB 2.0 and as far away as possible from active usb 3.0. This is because they interfere with the bluetooth signal. Over all the adapter is good and small. I use it for ps5 controllers and the ps vr 2 adapter and it works well. I was recommended to download newer drivers which sorted some issues. Another tip disable all other Bluetooth connections if you using a PC or laptop which has Bluetooth build in to the motherboard.

Info for Win7 Users
It’s worth noting this product is model UB5A v1, not v2. Not sure what the difference even is but it might be useful information for someone.If you are using this with classic Win7 64bit as I am, you must use the Driver pack from the TP-Link website. It comes in a ZIP file – and critically – if you install this Bluetooth Dongle by using the “Select my own drivers”/”Search for drivers in a folder I specify” route, it will NOT work. It appears to install fine and without error, but 90% of it’s associated critical driver files do not install. So if you are like me and averse to double clicking on .EXE driver executables because they historically tend to install tonnes of useless additional garbage, well, you don’t have a choice this time, and even better, there is actually no useless extra stuff anyway. No irritating custom TP-Link GUI’s to utilise the dongle – just good old fashioned built-in windows interfaces.My Bluetooth Earphones were visible and paired after a proper driver installation, and even though the earphones only part-installed correctly, the A2DP feature did so stereo audio came through clearly. I also had to open Playback Devices (right click on speaker tray icon) to manually select my Earphones as the output device.I should never have doubted TP-Link, they’re good products. Not the best but they get the job done.

الدونجل دي جيدة جدا ولكن اللي يشتريها يتأكد ان توصله النسخة البلوتوث 5.3 مش 5.0 عشان دي النسخة المحسنة من شركة تي بي لينك، النسخة الأقل هتواجهوا معاها تقطيعات كتير وقصر مدى. بيكون مكتوب عالدونجل نفسه نسخة البلوتوث.

Despues de bastante tiempo buscando un USB Bluetooth 5.0 y devolver una par de ellos por realizar la conexion entrecortada con cascos de audio o trener un calcance pauperrimo,por fin este adaptador Bluetooth “TP-Link UB500”,hace las funciones perfectamente como yo esperaba,eso si…tuve muchos problemas de desconexiones constantes nada mas ponerlo por culpa de la gestion de la energia que hace Windows 10 y 11.Doy un tip IMPORTANTISIMO!!!… tened en cuenta si se os desvincula constantemente que debeis de ir a administrador de dispositivos y donde pone Bluetooth/TP-Link Bluetooth 5.0 USB Adapter,pinchais encima con boton derecho del raton,vais a propiedades,pestaña administrador de energia,y desactivais la casilla “Permitir que el equipo apague este dispositivo para ahorrar energia” IMPORTANTISIMO!!! para que no se os desconecte,y donde pone Concentrador raiz USB generico o 3.0,haceis lo mismo,descativais la gestion de energia en todos los puertos USB,ya que esto proboca con muchos adaptadores usb wifi y de otro tipo,que se apague sin motivo alguno,dejo captura encima del comentario de la ventana en cuestion,espero les sea util.
