Best tester for copper and fibre
I won’t show as verified purchaser as this was purchased on our company account along with the cable sniffer.Previously i owned fluke microscanner 2 which served me well but this gives information about the cables and switches i never knew was available .Paid for itself the first week identifying faulty fibre cores.And you can print out a pdf report of all tests done if you add a usb WiFi module. No issues with anything i have used it for.For fibre you need to add an sfp but this has worked with the 3 different types we commonly use . Single and duplex modules all work.Well worth the money. superb bit of kit.

I donât know why other people gave this product a bad review but I can tell you they diffidently didnât understand the technical aspects of there knowledge in there field. This is a must to have if your care about the time and quality you provide to your clients needs.

This unit has saved us a ton of work. We’re able to verify our cabling is correct before we leave a jobsite!It’s also great for verifying switch ports, VLANS and IPs. So, you don’t have to drag a laptop out to test network connectivity.We’ve been using it for months and the only issue has been that the screen started flickering and “choosing” options on it’s own. I power-cycled it and it cleared up.

The Tester does everything that we thought it would do and more. We are very pleased with the functionality and ease of use. This would be a 5 Star review if the first unit delivered was not defective. TREND Networks Support was good overall and did not hesitate sending us a replacement unit. No issues since!
