Perfect for PCs without Bluetooth
My PC motherboard doesn’t have Bluetooth or WIFI built in and this little Bluetooth dongle has made using my PC in a significant way. It is easy to install by simply connecting it to a USB port on your computer and then it is ready to use. The dongle has great range for such a small device, with my phone being connected via Bluetooth all over my house and even outside on the street. I have noticed some lag in sound and picture when watching TV or movies using Bluetooth, but the overall quality is very good.

Works in Linux! maybe only a bit…
Doesn’t work in Linux? Working fine for me in the latest version of mint. Plugged it in, powered up and there it was. Only need KB/mouse and they work. Can’t vouch for anything else, but worth a try…

Good for adding Bluetooth to a PC or laptop
It’s great if you just want to add Bluetooth to a PC or laptop that doesn’t have it already. It has limits though. The signal strength is okay but If you go into another room or through a wall it probably won’t reach, it’s great that you can plug it in and it works so it’s very easy to install but overall decent product and worth the £4 that I payed for it.

Good Bluetooth dongle for Home Assistant on Raspberry Pi
If installed Home assistant on a raspberry pi in a metal case heatsink to help with the thermals. This blocked the internal Bluetooth, so I needed an external adapter. This device works as expected, good compatibility and was recognised instantly – very simple to use .Works with home assistant on a raspberry pi 3b

29.5ms latency sucks.
E-waste. If you’re looking for a USB adapter and you’re a sloth, snail, or turtle, you’ll LOVE this! I am unfortunately a person so this sucks. I bought this with the assumption that it would match the performance of my previous no-name cheap garbage bluetooth adapter, but it doesn’t. I am primarily using this for connecting my Dualsense controller to my PC and the latency/input lag is outrageous. It starts at around 12ms and then within a second or two bumps up to 29.5 consistently. I tried overclocking it to 1000hz, I tried finding a driver, and I even tried checking whether my PC was having issues with the installation of windows, the processes involved with Bluetooth, and performance. I’m not going to bother returning it because it’s cheap and I’m going to use it as a lesson to do a little more research in future, and not assume that companies have integrity.Opting instead for a TP-Link USB bluetooth adapter. If you’re looking for bluetooth and don’t care about the performance, it’ll be fine. But I think 30MS is going to be apparent if you’re using it for bluetooth speakers, a mouse, a keyboard… at least I would notice. The fact that this thing even exists in 2024 troubles and concerns me.

Great little Bluetooth dongle
Great Bluetooth USB dongle. I got this to use with my Apple Airpods on my PC. The range is great compared to my network card’s Bluetooth. I’m able to use most rooms in my house without any drops or distortion in the audio, which is great. It’s a small little dongle which I’ve got plugged into the front USB on my PC. It’s barely even noticeable.

It works.
I have a fairly new supposedly powerful PC running Windows 11. The internal Bluetooth has been pretty useless since day one and the wireless internet really subpar. Choppy, ineffective, very temperamental. To cure the internet problems I had to buy a signal booster. Eighty quid! Regarding Bluetooth, for seven quid I thought “What have you got to lose?” Apart from seven quid, that is. Disabled the internal Bluetooth as instructed. Plugged the dongle into the USB port. Done. My Sony wireless headphones, keyboard, mouse, etc, all connected seamlessly and all seem to function smoothly without glitches. Fingers crossed, it works. Can’t ask for much more than that.
