Sleek and stylish second screen
I was desperate for a second screen for work, and with limited workspace I wanted to support a screen vertically above my laptop. With my laptop being 15.6″ it didn’t make sense for me to get a huge screen to sit above my laptop. After some research I settled on this screen.I have been using the screen for a little over a week now, and so far I am extremely happy.Please refer to other reviews for any longer term issues.The picture quality is very good, it doesn’t quite match the quality of my Dell XPS but that’s to be expected considering the different price points.The thin bezel & brushed metal finish make this screen a really sleek and stylish option.The screen feels to be of sturdy construction and was easy to fix to a monitor stand using the VESA threaded holes for screws (a small issue is that the screws I have are longer than the holes, so the VESA plate is left slightly loose – but I can’t be sure if this is a problem with this screen or the stand. In any case with some plastic washers this can be solved).From unboxing to use takes less than 5 minutes, its great to have a product turn up with all the cables you need!I do think I’ll be buying a longer cable for use when connecting the screen to the mains, but so far I’m running the screen straight from my laptop which is working great.I have not used the foldable case/stand that comes with the screen yet, but great that it comes with the screen.In summary, a great looking screen, easy to connect up and picture quality is good. Great as a second screen for work.

Was quite hesitant at first to purchase from an unknown brand (UPERPECT), compared to other well known ones like ASUS. But after having this monitor for a few weeks now, I’ve absolutely no regrets on this purchase.Display: It’s a QLED display. Images are crisp, and the colors are so vibrant that my Dell monitors now look pale & muted in comparison. At it’s maximum, the display can be really bright. It is also unbelievably light and razor thin. It feels like a tablet, but way lighter. So do handle it with care. (The display is also quite glossy, so it’ll be a problem if the sun is behind your back).Input ports: It has 2 ports for display outputs: a mini HDMI and USB-C port. It also supports USB-C Power Delivery pass-through (via the 2nd USB-C port) – i.e. using a laptop USB-C power adaptor, you can power both the laptop and display via the monitor.Note: If your laptop usb-c port power output is high enough, you can use the provided USB-C cable for both image output and powering the monitor.OSD Menu: It is accessed via a rocker switch at the side. The menu is full fledged like what you would expect from full sized external monitors – Backlight/Contrast/Color Profile (Standard, Game, Movie…), Sharpness, Temperature, Hue… Aspect ratio, Input selection (HDMI or Type C).Protective cover: This is the only con. While the cover does it job, it’s much heavier than the monitor itself. The cover also acts as a stand. One half of is magnetic which ‘snaps’ on to the back (top) of the monitor, while the other half has two ‘indents’ which allow the monitor to stand in two positions (landscape) mode. The monitor also has two rubber feet at the bottom to prevent it from slipping.Built-in Speaker: Don’t expect much for a 2W speaker. You’re paying for a quality monitor, not quality audio.Price Point: For the amount I spent ($239.99), it feels like I got more than what I paid for.Support: Support is just amazing! They’re really fast and prompt in replying any email enquiries you have.*update* – 8 months laterUnfortunately, the monitor suddenly died on me while working on it at home. (not sure what happened there; there were white horizontal lines) But thankfully their customer service support was so quick and helpful in assisting me with it. Sent videos of the problem and received a replacement unit so quickly within a week. Kudos to the team at UPERFECT!

This is an excellent secondary monitor, and I can really recommend it. I really underestimated how much more vibrant and punchy the picture would be in comparison to a standard or even high quality regular IPS panel. I ordered one of UPERFECTs other portable monitors, the 2k 120hz version (IPS), for its high refresh rate, and that monitor performed great. But I found myself preferring this one even though it only has a 60hz refresh rate, because the panel is just so vibrant and the image really pops! If you plan to get a secondary monitor to watch movies, anime, or netflix, I think this is an excellent choice and I think you will prefer it over the other options. To top it off, the monitor is also very color accurate and has great ergonomic features. More details below:Quick list of some of the features of the monitor which I think are important to note:+QLED=Vibrant colors+Glossy Finish+All OSD settings save when monitor is put to sleep (recommend doing WIN+P to do so)+Kickstand on the monitor rather than using the protective cover as the stand+Great Color Gamut Coverage 99% Adobe sRGB, 100% DCI-P3+1080p resolution (Standard and IMO perfectly fine at 15.6 inches)+Can Power the Monitor w/ 1 USB-C IF the video source has USB-C video-output.(Tested with my Laptop and it will work)(NOTE: If you are connecting to a RTX 4000 series GPU, you will need 2 cables as these graphics card don’t have USB-C video output. I tested it with a 2080 Super and it was able to connect with a single USB-C as that GPU does have USB-c video output)~60hz refresh rate (fine, but I would love a 120hz QLED 15.6″ panel)Ergonomically, the included kickstand is a great feature, and I hope they continue to include this as a standard in their future monitors. I much prefer it to the hybrid protective cover/stand, as it is more sturdy and capable of a more acute angle. Though you can definitely use the cover/stand in a pinch.I think this portable monitor certainly lives up to its QLED marketing, and I can definitely recommend it for those who are looking for a secondary monitor with a glossy panel, and want to use it mainly for watching movies/anime/YouTube or for color accurate work.NOTE: The larger display in the review pictures is the LG C2 OLED if you want to use it as a reference display.

Mi chiedo come sia possibile dare più di 3 stelle a questo monitor.Luminosità scarsa, appena si alza si bruciano il bianco e le luci,Contrasto molto basso, i neri sono grigi e non c’è modo di migliorare.Resa dei colori scarsa: i dettagli rossi risulta “arancioni”, le diverse impostazioni di tonalità cambiano di poco il risultato sbagliato.Non servono a nulla i 120Hz se poi il pannello è così scarso.Inoltre il monitor non è quello della foto, invece dello stand posteriore arriva con una custodia classica nera pieghevole un po’ troppo ingombrante.Classico prodotto di fascia bassa cinese che va a riempire un vuoto di marche più famose.Chiesto il reso grazie ad Amazon.
