Great, simple dimmer
Simple and fast to fit.Great for adding a dimmer to lamps, I have installed these on a few around the house and either side of the bed for more ambient lighting.They might not be the prettiest, so I make sure there is enough cable so they are just out of sight.

Having bought a 3 globe standard lamp that was ‘plug and play’, even the 3 x 3W LED lights were too bright for what we needed.Had a look through the listings and found this little gem, breeze to install, perfect!Quiet, no buzzing, smooth dimming, job well done.Just make sure that the LEDs you use are compatible with a ‘trailing edge dimmer’ and you are set.Really happy!

Second time lucky
I fitted the “dimmer switch” exactly as per instructions to a bedside lamp. I switched it on and for a few seconds it functioned. But then there were sparks inside the switch and it ceased to function. This also blew the lamp’s plug fuse.UPDATE: I have now bought a second identical switch from the same seller to see if all of them are faulty, but so far the second switch is working perfectly. I will assume that the first defective switch had an anomalous fault with one of its components. Based on my own experience there is a 50% chance of getting a working switch.

I like this but with 1 reservation.The flex strain relief grip is preset & cannot be adjusted to fit different sized cables.I ran an unbroken earth wire inside the cover to help support the connected cables.The ability to set the minimum dim level is very useful.

Easy to install and works perfectly with my dimmable LED bulbs. You’ll need a screwdriver and something to cut and strip your existing wires. No soldering required with the screw-down clamp connectors. Feels robust and looks good.

Plus besoin de souder les fils, simplement vissรยฉ fermement les fils et le tour est jouรยฉ. Les connecteurs femelles se couplent parfaitement avec les power supply standard. Un seul point nรยฉgatif, 1 connecteur mรยขle et un connecteur femelle sont dรยฉfectueux mais je ne ferai pas de demande de retour vu le prix excessivement bas. Je recommande fortement ce produit.
