Best camera
Looked at so many different cameras to use and figured non WiFi cameras are best. This camera is so clear that you can see your baby breathing! Battery lasts a long time but also so easy to just plug in and keep next to you! Was so easy to set up and learn all the different buttons! Canât go wrong with this camera definitely would recommend! And price as well is definitely worth it!

No faff, just plug in and go! The monitor picks the camera up pretty fast when in another room, sound quality is great, you have controls for the volume, a zoom button, other features. You don’t need a top end camera with a phone app to have reassurance your little one is okay while in another room – this one is great, simple and easy ð

Simple and effective
Bought this for our baby as we didn’t want to go down the WiFi route and have a potential security risk on our hands. Especially when it comes to our children, is it worth putting their privacy in the hands of an unknown Chinese brand? Definitely not. We do not need our feed stored in the cloud, or to be viewed from a mobile phone, so this is perfect.This Vtech unit comes with the monitor paired to the camera. It’s as simple as charging the base, plugging in the camera and away you go.There are plenty of features with this, 2 way communication and a lullaby feature to name a couple. The night vision works well.My only gripe is when placed on a table or shelf, the base does not allow the camera to point down much, so the shelf I had planned to position this on is to high to see the cot. Not a major issue, I’ll just wall mount it but it is something to be aware of.

After a disappointing experience with a Motorola unit, we bought this – and what a brilliant product!From the outset, on opening the box it was well-packaged. The display unit feels very weighty and well made – meaning it wonât fall off your bedside table. It has a good built in battery that can go for a good few hours (never run flat for us, but then we almost always have it plugged in).We use it downstairs for a puppy in our 4-bedroom house and it has never had a problem connecting. The night vision is good, the audio is good, and the sound activation is great.Almost every parameter is adjustable from the display unit GUI. The camera unit is a little on the light side so can fall easily – but thatâs no big deal at all and it can be mounted to a surface as required.This far exceeded our expectations and has been in continuous use for about 5 months. Itâs great to see that some products out there are still so well made! Well done to VTech.

Brilliant Baby Monitor – wish we’d found it sooner
Having owned 2-3 BT baby monitors and been plagued with microusb socket issues, we replaced them for the final time but with this V-Tech model. From the ground up its a better design, the power socket is a proper dc/ac pin adaptor a bit like a laptop charger, it fits in properly and doesn’t wiggle. The range on the monitor is great and there’s been no issues around our house (unlikely our previous). The “patrol” mode perfectly cycles between the two cameras and the monitor is very good at not booming out idle/white noise but being sensitive to coughs/cries/speech. Overall a fantastic product, and hopefully the last monitor we’ll ever need to buy.

Not built to last
I loved this monitor. It was affordable, easy to use, doesnât connect via wifi, and has the basics you need, particularly loved the temp gauge on the display as when my little one was in her own room, it was easy to monitor the room temp. However, after only 7/8 months of use, the on/off button has stopped working on the monitor and the temp display is always blank. I contacted the manufacturer to see if they could troubleshoot the issue (not for a replacement or a refund) and they said sorry not our problem as you bought it more than a year ago! I bought this before my little one arrived but only started using it once she was in her own room around 7/8 months ago. Really disappointed especially after I recommended it so highly so family and friends so donât purchase this if you plan on using it long term.

Great camera
I bought this monitor to take on holiday, however, after trialling it at home it is amazing compared to my other baby monitor which cost almost £200! This monitor is a great price for what you get – itâs a simple and straightforward product to use, does exactly what it says on the tin & the image is crisp and clear (much more so than my other expensive monitor!) I would 100% recommend this item, this will now become my go-to for when my toddler naps!

Great video, amazing night vision better that other cameras I have seen, the battery last very long time on the parent monitor I love that I can carry it around with me and see baby at all times .
