Too wide for my patch panel
Bought these to go in my server rack patch panel, Problem is they are too wide, I actually found out a lot of patch panels wont take keystone jacks as they are too narrow. I ended up buying a new patch panel (TRENDnet TC-KP24S) which will accept “Cable Matters” keystone jacks but not these.Because of the above problem I’ve not actually used them so cannot say how good or bad they are, They appear well built and don’t need a punchdown tool to fit the wires as the plastic cover does that for you, If they hadn’t been too wide I think they would have handled the job very well.

TOO WIDE FOR STANDARD 24-PORT PATCH PANELS
The inclusion of the insertion tool is nice and overall the quality is okay but these do not fit into standard patch panels.

Good and reliable connections and a great price. The biggest drawback is they are too wide to fit most patch panels .

They are no easier than doing a crimp on end yourself. Getting the wires in is not simple at all and then to press down requires a strong hand.Save yourself the trouble and purchase decent punch down modules

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer einfachen Lösung, um Spannung per Patchkabel zu übertragen (passive PoE) und im Endgerät abzugreifen. Dafür ist der Keystone ideal. Aber auch als normaler Netzwerkanschluà würde er eine gute Figur machen – das Anschliessen der Leitungen ist problemlos.
