The repeater connects two devices with HDMI ports over an RJ45 cable. The extender uses a single cat-5e or cat-6 (recommended) cable instead of an HDMI cable to transmit high-definition signals up to 60 meters, thereby reducing costs. Two remote devices can be connected via cat 5e cat 6 network cable, such as different rooms, different floors, garages and rooms. Up to 60 meters of cat 5e cat 6 wiring can be used to expand or bridge the network in a cost-effective manner.
