I enjoy pointing my Sony zv-e10 at things when I’m out for a wander. But was getting bored with ordinary looking point and shoot results.In stepped this Gimbal. I’ve never really used one before as I always thought they seemed a bit annoying to set up. I was wrong. It took me 15 mins following a YT video and I was all set. Low learning curve too – so once you’ve down it once you’ll be able to adjust and start over with instruction.Using it is just as easy. The modes and controls are intuitive and easy to use. It’s comfy to hold for long periods of time, although I did buy the wrist rest / handle they make to add extra comfort – recommend spending the extra £100 or so.Plenty of guides online for making the most of the gimbal – creative ways to use it etc. it does take some practice, particularly for low down shots (as you can’t see the screen in the back of camera, unless it tilts up) but it’s fun to learn.If you’re a Vlogger then the one button selfie mode is great where it instantly rotates 180 degrees to focus on you rather than the scene.Charge time and length is great. The integrated light has also been a god send – it’s powerful, not a gimmick. Love that you can use it as a power bank too.Plenty of other accessories you can add if you’re looking to have this as part of a bigger rig with lights, screens, mics etc.Overall this gave me a new hobby and I’m loving the process as much as the results.Recommend.

Good lightweight setup for LUMIX wedding videographers!
Having used various gimbals over the years, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Zhiyun Weebill 3S fits into my workflow—especially when paired with LUMIX cameras. Right out of the box, it seamlessly integrates with my LUMIX setup, allowing me to control key settings and start/stop recording without any hassle.One of the standout features for me is its ability to power my camera via the camera control cable. This not only reduces the need for extra batteries but also keeps my setup clean and efficient—perfect for long shooting days. Additionally, I’m using the Zhiyun focus motor to control zoom on my zoom lenses, which adds another layer of versatility to my shoots.In terms of handling, the lightweight design, wrist rest, and side handle make a huge difference in comfort and stability, particularly for handheld work. It’s a well-thought-out system that genuinely helps with fatigue over extended shoots. Despite its compact form, the motor response is smooth, customisable via the screen, and—importantly—completely silent, ensuring no unwanted noise in my audio recordings.Compared to other gimbals I’ve used, the Weebill 3S is an excellent option for light to medium-sized camera setups, particularly Panasonic/LUMIX users who want a straightforward, reliable stabiliser with built-in camera control and power delivery. Zhiyun has nailed the balance between functionality, portability, and ease of use, making this an easy recommendation. Also love the LED light which is good for wedding dance floors!!

Review de este Gimbal ZHIYUN Weebill hay muchas en internet y YT por lo que no me voy a entender mucho e dar mi opinión, al igual que no voy a entrar a dar datos técnicos sobre este, ZHIYUN ya los da en su web y aquí en Amazon bastante bien y volver ha hacerlo yo seria repetirme y hacer esta reseña necesariamente extensa e interminable.Si optas por el modelo Combo, el que yo he escogido y creo que la mejor opción ya que este incluye el reposamuñecas y un practico soporte de mano para así el Gimbal con las dos manos lo que hace que su peso, ya de por si pequeño, se reparta mejor entre los dos brazos, pero por contra tendrás una mochila de diseño que puede gustar mas o menos pero que es realmente poco practica y menos aun para guardar esta herramienta de trabajo que es el Gimbal.Dicho estos, el Gimbal está fabricado en metal con alguna pieza en plástico y tiene una construcción muy cuidada hasta el ultimo detalle.La forma en la que cogemos este ha mejorado muchísimo si lo comparamos con versiones anteriores y ni que decir tiene que muchísimo mejor que con los de la competencia y todo gracias a su bajo peso y lo compacto que este es, más siendo un tripode que va dirigido a cierto publico con determinadas cámaras que son las de medio peso y este Weebill es capaz de soportar un peso máximo de hasta 2,5 Kg, que me parece una verdadera pasada.Su nivelación es sencillisima, no tardas mas de 2 minutos en tener el conjunto totalmente equilibrado y se incluyen dos zaparas que facilitan la colocación en el eje del Gimbal tanto en horizontal como en vertical si vas a grabar para redes sociales, porque si, en este Weebill puedes poner la cámara en vertical, aunque a mi personalmente no me gusta y no lo uso, prefiero grabar en horizontal y si he de subir algo a las redes, lo que hago es grabar en 4K y recortar de esta forma me aseguro tener mis grabaciones para lo que han sido grabadas.Disponemos de los modos tipos de todos los Gimbal, incluso el VORTEX con el que podremos hacer esos giros de cámara que quedan tan espectaculares en ciertas ocasiones.Todo se maneja con cuatro sencillos botones estrategicamentes colacocados, un joystick mas una rueda y según las pulsaciones que hagas en los botones obtendrás resultados deferentes, algunos de ellos programables a tu gusto.Dispone de una pequeña pantalla OLED que te muestra información básica, no hace falta mas y se ve realmente bien incluso en condiciones de a pleno sol.La verdad es que es un Gimbal muy potente y con una bateria dura y dura y que te dará para una jornada completa de trabajo, según ZHIYUN mas de 12 horas aunque eso dependerá del uso que le des y si usas los motores para hacer movimientos de cámara, usas la LUZ de relleno qu este trae y en fin como todos los equipos que se alimentan con batería. pero aun suponiendo que sean 8 horas, ya son un montón.La estabilización que hace es verdaderamente sorprendente, independientemente de la cámara y objetivo que lleves, mantiene la imagen estable aunque tu estes dando saltitos o tengas un pulso de pena. Lo estabiliza todo, dando unos planos tremendos y si usas los movimiento estos sería suaves y constantes, sin tirones de ningún tipo., que por cierto, puedes programar movimientos y luego con pulsar un botón este los ejecuta. También puedes usar este desde la propia app de ZHIYUN que está bien pero es muy parca y hay veces que se hace algo liosa.Sin duda este ZHIYUN Weebill 3S es una compra 💯recomendada.

Bottomline up front: Coming from a Ronin SC (yes, I know, that’s DJI’s old budget entry level gimbal), this is a phenomenal upgrade, without breaking the bank!!I upgraded to the Weebill 3S from my DJI Ronin SC. I wanted a gimbal that supported native vertical mount shooting, as well as standard landscape shooting, I was really debating between this and the DJI Ronin RS3 Mini, as I didn’t want to break the $500 mark going into the “regular” Ronin RS3 or Zhiyun Crane 4. Reviews for the Weebill 3S and the Ronin RS3 were practically the same…overall, both are really good for their price and category, with minor nit picks in either camp. In the end, I ended up going with the Weebill 3S because you got a bit more for your dollar–I ended up getting the wrist rest/handle add on for about $30 more than just the RS3 mini without any extras.Let me tell you, I’m not disappointed I went this route! The overall stabilization and ease of balancing was leaps and bounds over my Ronin SC. And the wrist-rest and handle combo make a big difference in reducing strain on your hand/arm. Build quality seemed on par with my Ronin, and everything was easy to assemble and get going. Balancing was WAY easier than with my Ronin SC (for reference, I’m using a Sony FX30 with Sigma 16mm lens) and the 3S doesn’t struggle at all with my setup. One nit pick I have is one of the adjustment knobs gets blocked by the camera mounting plate in the vertical setup due to how far the plate protrudes forward for balancing, but for my setup, it wasn’t a big issue. I may just relocate the camera on the mounting plate a bit forward and rebalance everything, but for now, it’s working great. All the functions are very similar to the Ronin I came from, from the trigger pulls to the modes. Auto-tuning the motors is super easy. Bluetooth and wired connection to my FX30 work great. The fill light is neat, but I’m not sure how much use I’d get out of it. But, it’s bright and you can control the color temp.I can’t directly compare to the Ronin RS3 mini, but from my experience so far with this, it’s an outstanding gimbal that is easy to get set up, use, and seems to be quality built. If you’re looking for a sub $500 gimbal that offers a lot of value, this is definitely worth your consideration.Pros:- Price value compared to DJI- Easy setup- Easy balance- Easy connection to camera- Handle and wrist rest add on is really nice to have for reducing strain- Stabilization is buttery smooth!- Native vertical mountingCons:- At least one knob may be partially blocked from adjustment depending on how you have to mount your camera to the quick release plateIf you found this review helpful, please hit that “Helpful” button!!
