Quiet simply the Gimbal everyone should own – superb piece of kit!
Having been struggling to find the perfect Gimbal â I am pleased to say I think I have found it, this is by best Gimbal I have ever brought. â if you have any questions feel free to ask â just order it you will not be disappointed! If you want to see it in action here is a link to one of the many Youtube videos I have made https://youtu.be/rz9xpf7USM8I own 2 other Zhiyun Gimbals and the DJI Ronin SC and the Weebill Lab beats them all â I will add a short video and some photos to this review plus I cant wait to do some Youtube reviews and Tutorials to show it off they will be on my channel if you are interested (search for Hieth George)Here is my brief review and elow you will find some more detail – I own Canon Cameras the EOSR & the EOSRP and they have only worked on other gimbals with a small 35 mm prime lens â I unboxed the Weebill S and balanced the ESOR with the RF 24 to 105mm zoom lens and it works perfectly with no need to rebalance when zooming in and out.You really wont believe how quick it is to balance and works so smoothly in the next couple of days/weeks I will do some balancing and usage films. It is similar to the original WeeBill Lab but has some awesome improvements that fixes a lot of things for example it works with the Canon EOSR straight out of the box it was balanced and running like a dream. The motors are very strong and capable thereâs no motor noise which is ace when making videos also I cant find a list of maximum payload which is actually a good thing because they have a comprehensive compatibility list of different camera set ups, it is not say that your wont work if it is not on the list just it has not been added or tested yet â now that it fits the EOSR without having to mess around with taking off the eye-piece etc I am sure it will be capable with most prosumers set upsIt comes well a packaged, it has a storage box made out of Styrofoam but donât chuck it away as it is good to store it when not in use, I am not bothered that it does not come with a case as I always put my gimbals in my camera bags and on that note this fits in all of mine from the small shoulder bag right up to my large tactical bagI feels exactly like the Weebill Lab in hand light and I love the underslung combination as a must you should also buy the quick release trans mounts It does have some marked improvements such as the much easier to us plus the quick release clamps gimbal locks have been improved as well. When I switched it on that was the big surprise it felt stronger and steady, the whole thing feels rock-solid I have had a quick go as I was so excited to use it and the whole thing including the buttons and motors feel really responsive.I did not need to do anything other than download the new firmware which I have come to expect now and also shows the support that is going on to fix and improve it even more.

Fantastic Gimbal and V. good value for money. Ticks all the boxes. Well Done Zhiyun!!
Just received my Weebil S. Probably the best gimbal on the market in my opinion. It’s very easy to mount and balance your camera. I use Lumix GH5 and G80 with a variety of lenses and it handles them easily. The extra power in the motors is clearly evident. The quick release clamps are even easier to apply. One of the main features that attracted me to the Weebil gimbals is the ability to lock all the axis and comfortably carry it in almost any backpack. I recommend getting all the accessories that go with this gimbal. I’ve got some quick release trans mounts which are cool and time saving as you don’t need to screw and twist on monopods or stands, saving you seconds. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the Image Transmission Transmitter/Receiver when they become available. I first heard about gimbals a few years ago like DJI, but my first gimbal was the Zhiyun Smooth 4, then the Weebil Lab and now the Weebil S. I’m really impressed with the quality and the value for money I’ve got with each purchase. Really good job and a big Thank You to Helen from Zhiyun Official Store (Europe) for fantastic support and assistance. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent gimbal and extremely helpful and professional costumer service direct from Zhiyun!!
This gimbal has everything what DJI Ronin S is missing and more!Only materials on DJI are a bit better quality, everything else is perfect on Weebill S for my style of filming.I have to say I was surprised how good and balanced it feels in hand in comparison with Ronin S. Iâm sure it is due to better ergonomics witch makes me want to shoot in more variety of angles ie POV mode is somehow easier to achieve thanks to more intuitive controls etc.As I show on the video I rigged it with a cage, Atomos Shinobi, Sony remote controller and only one additional Smallrig handle which I already had for my Sony A7iii cage and Sigma 20mm 1.4 lens!!All together weights 4kg but due to very good ergonomics it feels âperfectly ðâ balanced in hand with good weight distribution when changing from regular to underslung mode.To balance the same lens on Ronin S I had to buy external weight balance plate, not too mention lack of separate axis locks and quick release plate made this much more as a chore in comparison to balancing on Weebil S!!!I have to mention also very very good costumer Service provided to me Helen from Zhiyun who was in contact with me from the moment I purchased gimbal until I received it and also after couple of days to make sure I am happy with my gimbal and answering all my questions very promptly and professional manner.Highly recommended service and gimbal!!Happy Filming ð¥

Disclaimer. I used it for one 3hr wedding shoot plus a few pieces of training. The body built is excellent. Feels like pro equipment with attention to every detail. It manages a light camera (800g) with additional weights as well as my heavy Nikon D750 with (a light fix focus lense). For the light camera, it vibrates a lot and I used additional metal pieces attached to the camera mounting plate. The other point is the tail of the handle. It is also important to attach a weight there for stability or leave the tripod connected.I was unable to connect to both cameras because they are not compatible (and not promised to be). Therefore I don’t know about the easiness of focus or zoom through gimbal controls.Accidentally I changed the settings of the horizontal level and had to use the manual to turn it to the right position. Make sure you read one. There is a self-calibration instruction to execute from time to time. Also, I had a few panic moments when I activated the stabilizer with a random position of the camera and it went wrong. Then I found that it is important to bring the camera to a position close to the working one or to the position of a fully locked gimble. It knows how to unroll from there.I will update the review if anything will happen.Nice to have: a piece of fabric to eject batteries. It would be nice to charge batteries right inside the gimble as well.

The only other gimbal Iâve used is my Movi Mini Mi for my iPhone, which obviously is much much lighter, so I cannot say how âlightweightâ this is compare to other gimbals. Itâs not heavy but itâs not light either, you walk around for a while with it you know youâre carrying something. That being said: itâs comfortable to hold I prefer to keep the handle (aka tripod feet) on the top angled position and holding it that way, super easy to go from high to low angles. Itâs really not a big deal to unscrew and put on bottom (as show in picture) to stand on tabletop, or to hold like you would other gimbals (such as a Ronin S)… so donât be a sucker and buy those quick connector things for $20 each (youâd need 2 to even make it worth it) that are like quick release for the handle.I bought this gimbal over the other similar Zhiyun gimbal that was $50 less (Crane Lab maybe? the one that looks almost identical) for 2 reasons: this one advertises stronger motors, I shoot DSLR not mirrorless so this is important. And secondly, this has more clearance between the gimbal motors and the handle (when in underslung setup) and I didnât want my fat hands getting in the way of the gimbal when in gimbals. And this is a big deal because even still occasionally I can feel it brushing my knuckles (and I simple adjust my hand, no issue).I simply bought this to smooth out my shaky video. However, itâs got so many awesome features when you connect the app. Sync mode! Follows the gyroscope of your phone, so you can literally stand several feet away from the gimble on a table and turn your phone left, up, down, whatever and it will follow in real time. Thereâs almost no delay.Trajectory and Timelapse modes: the gimbal will act as your intervelometer if you donât have one (I donât). So you can set the settings for a time lapse and it will trigger the camera accordingly. Perfect. Then add trajectory (setting up to 5 or 6 points) it will memorize them and you set the duration and it will add motion to your timelapse. Trajectory doesnât have to be a photo timelapse. You can tell it to be in video mode and simply add movement over time (perfect for those who like Canonâs built in video timelapse). If you buy the separate wireless video transmitter ($125 ish) you can see video in the app which offers more features that could be super useful: like subject tracking. You could set the gimbal on a table and in the app draw a box around yourself in the image and it will follow you as you move around. So there you go, robot camera man for your YouTube cooking show.*theres some PSYCHOTIC reviews of the ZY Play app on the IOS App Store, it does NOT collect your info, Iâve entered zero personal info into the app (Nor did the app ask for any). The app rules, and itâs a MILLION times better than the Movi app that I use with my phone gimbal. So ignore the bad reviews.Mounting a monitor comfortably can be rough. So my advice: get a 4 or 5â monitor, 7â are too in the way. Maybe if you purchase a large and expensive quality smart arm mount you can get around this… but I returned a 7â and went for a 5â, even though I prefer the largest screen possible. I also returned one of those dual ball-head tension mounts because it SUCKED. I got one of those rigid 5â mounts for $28 and itâs the only solution that worked for me (see photo). The reduce in shake in my videos is noticeable and Iâm still new to using this thing. I was really nervous about dropping $400 instead of say $200 on a glidecam type steadicam, this thing earns its price tag.Learn to balance it (I still watch a video every time) properly until you get the hang of it. And if youâre using the same camera/lens every time you only need to adjust how forward or back the quick release plate sits balanced. The ONLY thing I donât really like is that it didnât come with even a padded nylon case. The box it comes in is kinda like a suitcase with a clamshell hard foam inside… so itâs useable, but I wish I could just put this in a small padded case and throw it in my backpack. But otherwise, fully love it.

Después de usarlo en la grabación de varios videoclips, puedo decir que es lo que estaba buscando. Rápido de calibrar, movimientos fluidos, facil manejo y muy versátil. Lo uso con una Lumix S II y se vincula perfectamente.
