Great alternative to hardwired switches.
A great way of controlling lights etc without having to hardwire switches. Ideal for outside lights where you can get a supply to the light but it would be awkward to wire in the switches, also this allows 2 way switching too (or more if you get more switches).Control box is quite ‘chunky’ but does have mounting lugs to screw it in place and the terminals are nicely recessed (control box is NOT waterproof) but the switches are supposed to be. The control distance really depends on what the signal has to go through and on mine would not go from the front to the back of the house through all the walls (tested by walking round with a switch in my hand) but works well for the outside light on my shed and i can now turn it off from either back of house or shed (the switches are now stuck on the walls but could just as easily carry the switch with me).To save drilling and wiring switches these are brilliant and well worth the money and makes diy installation a breeze.
