Human stays present in seek for kidnapped Sydney man Chris Baghsarian, police say | New South Wales

Detectives have discovered what they consider are human stays on Sydney’s outskirts as they seek for the lacking 85-year-old Chris Baghsarian.

New South Wales police stated on Tuesday that detectives investigating the mistaken kidnapping of Baghsarian had found stays close to a golf membership in Pitt City about 8am on Tuesday. They stated investigations into the person’s disappearance continued.

Baghsarian, a widowed grandfather, was kidnapped from his North Ryde house simply after 5am on Friday 13 February.

Early inquiries established that he was not the supposed goal and had been taken in a case of mistaken identification.

Police on Monday stated forensic proof linked to Baghsarian had been present in a burnt-out automotive, with police looking out bushland for any additional clues.

Appearing Det Supt Andrew Marks urged the general public to share any footage they could have of the gray Toyota Corolla, which was present in Westmead final Tuesday.

Marks stated officers had found proof contained in the automotive that had been linked to an deserted and derelict property in Dural, the place it was believed Baghsarian was held in some unspecified time in the future after his kidnapping.

Police raided the Dural property on Thursday night, later saying it had been used as “a makeshift stronghold by the abductors”.

Baghsarian’s household final week stated they have been “dwelling by a nightmare” and the 85-year-old’s abduction “feels surreal”.

“Our household resides by a nightmare we by no means thought doable,” his family members stated final Tuesday. “We’re struggling to make sense of the truth that he has been taken and that our household has been caught up in one thing that has nothing to do with us.”

The Australian Broadcasting Company has reported that the supposed goal might have been a relative of a person linked to a well known Sydney crime household.
